Clubs and User Groups at Lilleshall

Lilleshall is a world renowned National Centre of Excellence with extensive sports, hotel and conference facilities all situated within a stunning single site complex.

Over 30 National Governing Bodies of Sport make regular use of Lilleshall and several of these have also established their operations and based offices at the Centre including;

• The Football Association
• British Gymnastics
• Grand National Archery Society
• British Weight Lifters Association
• English Table Tennis Association

Lilleshall is also part of the English Institute of Sport (EIS) network and the EIS deliver elite athlete support services and have an office base at the Centre.

Lilleshall provides the home of the Lilleshall Sports Injury Rehabilitation Centre, who provide specialist rehab services to the sports industry and general public.

The Home Office Prison College Service of Physical Education is also based at Lilleshall, delivering an extensive range of physical education/sports based courses within the Prison Service. 

However, Lilleshall is much more than just a venue where high level and elite sport can flourish.  The centre is very proud of its long established role as a Community Centre.  More than 80 local sports clubs use Lilleshall as a base for their activities and casual pay and play opportunities are available to anyone.  Some of the community sports opportunities available include;

• football
• archery
• table tennis
• gymnastics
• badminton
• ballroom dancing
• netball
• volleyball
• indoor cricket
• indoor bowls
• outdoor flat green bowling
• basketball
• squash
• hockey

The local business sector also make good use of the centre as a conference venue and the general public also make up the main user group for Chapters Restaurant, local function events and weddings.
